Things Todo In Moab

Timed entry reservations are required for entry into Arches National Park. Reservations open February1st at 8am MST for all May entry times.
Moab is a busy tourist town in the spring time! If you are trying to hike or visit a popular site we have had luck going early in the morning or later in the evening. Especially for popular hikes, we try to be on the trails by 7am at the latest.
Checkout Alltrails for specific hike tips, downloadable maps, and current conditions. It also includes reviews that outline if the hike is kid friendly or a skill level is required.
Moab is moving towards ticketing more hikes and activities. We would recommend researching your top activities ahead of time to ensure there is no entry ticket required.
There is very limited cell service outside of the city limits. We like to download maps prior to leaving town.
Please bring lots of water with you! There is very little shade during the heat of the day.
Are favorite non hiking activity in Moab is Jeep tours. We have used Navtec Expeditions and had a great time!
